Kelas utama Senior event Merpati Balap Tingkat Nasional Lindu Aji Cup Semarang diikuti 414 pembalap.
Awalnya pertarungan babak demi babak berlangsung meriah dan ketat. Pada saat babak 4 yang menerbangkan 66 burung (33 pasang lawan), angin berbalik arah.
Ada cukup banyak burung jeblos, bahkan keduanya terbang tinggi terus menjauh dari patek. Burung pun dinyatakan draw.
Setelah dikurangi burung-burung yang kalah, masih tersisa 40 burung. Babak kelima dijeda/break sambil menunggu angin kembali kondusif.
Setelah beberapa waktu, situasi belum kondusif sementara hari berangsur sore dan gelap. Para peserta dan panitia pun bersepakat menyudahi lomba, hadiah uang pembinaan 150 juta rupiah dibagi kepada 40 pembalap tersisa terakhir. Adapun urutan kejuaraan ditentukan berdasarkan undian.
